Growing up in Michigan, Derrick’s family adopted dogs from local animal shelters and sanctuaries. Every dog became part of the family and had a loving forever home. He also has a cat named Nala. As a responsible animal companion it’s important to look after them. Everything from diet, fresh hydration, exercise, up to date veterinary checkups, a home that provides a safe space, and a patient, trusting, and caring relationship is important to all animals and their overall health and happiness. Derrick can’t wait for the opportunity to meet a new furry friend.
