Brad Pearson is a native of Nebraska where he grew up with mice, rats, hamsters, rabbits and dogs (not all at once.) He has an imaginative, creative and restless spirit and from a young age would spend his time wandering, pondering and brooding in his hometown of Lincoln. He got his BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2008 and, having only known prairies and tundras his whole life, set his sights on Brooklyn in 2010. Brad has been working in art, film and television and living in Park Slope and Sunset Park, which is all well and good, but he missed his dog and contact with animals and nature in general, and has been getting his fix by pet sitting for friends and volunteer dog walking, and is thrilled to now have a job doing something he’d do for free. (Gotta pay that rent though.) When he’s not walking and nuzzling dogs, he makes illustrations and comics which, turns out, are often about nuzzling dogs.
